TORANOTEC Completes JPY2.9 billion Series C Financing,
with JIC VGI as Lead Investor
〜Driving further growth of investment app TORANOKO〜
Tokyo, August 30, 2021 – Japanese fintech wealth creation service provider, TORANOTEC Ltd. (hereinafter “TORANOTEC”) announced that it has completed its current financing round amounting to JPY2.9 billion. Led by JIC Venture Growth Fund 1 (hereinafter, “JIC VGI”), which is managed by JIC Venture Growth Investments Co., Ltd., a venture capital arm of Japan Investment Corporation, the round included the following investors:
・ Seven Bank, Ltd.
・ Aslead Capital Pte. Ltd.
・ AG Capital Co., Ltd.
・ SUMISEI INNOVATION FUND（A CVC of Sumitomo Life）

Through its wealth creation app TORANOKO, which allows investment of small change and various loyalty points, TORANOTEC has lowered the barrier to investing, enabling anyone and everyone to engage in wealth creation for their future. The cumulative total number of TORANOKO accounts opened has reached approximately 300,000. This round of financing will allow TORANOTEC to accelerate the growth of TORANOKO by engaging in enhancing its service line-up and marketing activities, as well as invest in new products and new services development to respond to the needs of and attract a broader client base.
